The Journey Begins
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where your Bush Doctor Safaris representative will welcome you and assist with your private transfer.
Depending on your arrival arrangements, begin your Kenyan experience with a visit to the historical site associated with Denys Finch Hatton, located in the Karen/Ngong Hills area.
For travelers interested in the Out of Africa story, an optional visit to the Karen Blixen Museum can also be arranged.
Alternatively, enjoy the surrounding Ngong Hills landscape before settling into your luxury Nairobi accommodation.

Arrive at your luxury safari camp or lodge and settle in.
Later, embark on your first private game drive across the Mara plains.

BWINDI GORILLA TREKKING

Today marks one of the defining experiences of the journey: mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Accompanied by experienced Uganda Wildlife Authority guides and trackers, trek through the ancient rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family.
The trek can vary considerably in duration and difficulty depending on where the gorillas are located that day.
Once you locate the family, you will have a regulated viewing period—typically up to one hour for standard gorilla trekking permits—to quietly observe these remarkable animals in their natural environment.
